Well the english Lotus Notes\Designer\Admin client is listed on my PPA site, but when you attempt to download it via the IBM download utility, it errors out with "file not found"....

Most irritating!!!!!!!

Thanks very helpful. When I first logged in I saw Traveler and then it was gone. Tracked it down using the part number.

Unbelievable how IBM can screw up the most basic thing, as a Notes Admin for 10 years it never ceases to amaze me how they can complicate the simplest thing beyond all human comprehension. You would think they would have figured out how to do this after all these years. I was trying to download the 8.5.2 Basic client, thanks to the post above I was able to get the part number but a search on that part # only got me 1 hit which was a document which was supposed to tell you how to download Notes 8.5.2 - How to download IBM Lotus Notes 8.5.2 from Passport Advantage

http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24026079

But reading through the document is like chasing your tail. It just goes around in circles and never really gives you clear instructions or links for downloading the part numbers. Sorry to vent here but after all these years it's very frustrating that IBM cannot get these simple things right. Oh, I was able to download the full multi-client, but that was not what I wanted.

OK, maybe I'm not as skilled at finding the part numbers but IBM's instructions were 4 the birds. At least they did have the phone # to call, which I did. The rep had me open the Passport site, then go to "Find downloads and media", then click "View all my downloads", then expand "Lotus Software", then had me search on the bundled part # CRC50EN (for all 8.5.2, any many other parts) then search for the individual product part # CZIF7EN. And there is was. I think part of my confusion was the parent or mother part description was "IBM Lotus Domino Enterprise Client Access License 8.5.2 for Multiplatform English eAssembly(CRC50EN)", which made me think it was licenses and not the clients. Very clever of them.
Also the document I previously noted which supposedly told how to download did not mention the parent eAssembly numbers, and searching for just the sub-assembly part numbers did not get you to a downloadable link. You have to be on the parts page to search for the part #s. I haven't done this that many times, but it's not my first time and I still think IBM could do a much better job of making this an easier process.

I'm not sure if I'm misreading this ... but also just searched on the BP download site ... but there appears to be no Notes, Designer and Admin client for 64 bit.

Is that right? Maaaan!

IBM had an Open Mic discussion this morning on Upgrading to Domino 8.5.2 and one of the IBM guys said there was no plan to develop a 64-bit client as long as the 32-bit client ran fine on a 64-bit OS. I will see if I can get the link to the discussion. It will be somewhere on an IBM wiki I think or other web site

@flabbergasted, I know and feel your pain everyday.

Correct, no 64bit admin client, btw I tried installing the 32bit version on a Win 7 64bit ultimate and it was no pretty, it will not install on it even though 8.5.1 32bit worked fine.

Anyone had any success with 8.5.2 admin on Win 7 64??

This is the most direct link to download the products describe above.
