I can't get used to the new calendar look and feel

Permalink 11/05/09 15:08, by Dennis van Remortel, Categories: IBM, Lotus

I really don't like the new look and feel of the notes calendar. I just miss the simplicity the old calendar had.

As a comparison I have added 2 screenshots. One in a 6 template, and one in my 8.5 template. Same week, same entries.

You tell me which one you prefer. (And if you can tell me how to tune my calendar to resemble 6, please help!)

Sorry, I like the second one (R8) the most. Better overview, easier to read.

A couple of suggestions.

Have a look at the "Day at a glance" feature in the sidebar which gives a simple list of entries.

If you really want to open your calendar in the "old" style non-java view then press CTRL and ALT when you open it.
