Traveler: There was an error reading your configuration

Permalink 02/15/09 21:19, by Dennis van Remortel, Categories: IBM, Lotus
After spending the week at home with the flu, I tried to install Traveler 8.5 again. The error in the title doesn't mean what it says. It means "I can't find the server". Check your connection settings and proxy settings on your WM device. Cost me a heck of a lot of time to find, as browsing and other internet apps had no problem with accessing the web.

Thanks Dennis, this just saved us quite some time and maybe money too for replacing the phone.

This setting seemed to stick about the proxy server even with hard resets. Amazing... turned the proxy off and it started to authenticate just fine!

Thanks..
